no-anki: but actually a little
anki is a necessary part of language learning in the beginning stages. I will never denounce the name of anki, wanikani, or any service that introduces someone to a subject with SRS. it's a proven technique to internalize the topic or at least help memorize medical terms before a big exam.
language courses are garbage
all of them
online language courses have plagued learners trying to get a basic understanding of their target language. Promises of grammar, vocabulary, phrases, and travel essentials never deliver.
intro
I like to learn. Learning how to learn is more important than learning the skill itself. The concept of "Ultralearning" is an achievable idea - albeit at a lesser degree than believed for most. I will post about learning techniques and any tips I know. Other than that, it'll be a casual space for my ramblings (tagged with "ramblings").
